Michelle had by far the her best year racing in 2005. Racing in the Modified Class (10-12 Year Olds) Michelle participated in 22 events. She made it to 7 final rounds and took home the winners trophy 4 times. This success and many late round finishes enabled her to wrap up not only the 2005 Texas Raceway Modified Championship but also the 2005 Texas Raceway Overall Track Championship. In addition to her sucess every week, Michelle also won the 2005 Division 4 Race of Champions earning her a 2006 NHRA Gold Card, a trip to Houston and a NHRA Divisional Championship Wally. And it doesn't stop there. Not only was she sucessful at the local and divisional level, she also made it to the Semi-Finals at the 2005 Mile High Shootout and the 1/4 Finals of the 2005 Western Conference Finals in Denver, Colorado.
